Born 1984, I grew up in the southern Ruhrgebiet and, after a few stop-overs across Germany, finally settled in Cologne. After buying my first digital camera in 2012, I started teaching myself photography studying other artists‘ work and putting it into practice on my journeys. I am constantly developing my own style to create simple, and structured land- or seascapes. My ultimate goal is to capture the beauty of nature in the perfect light, which is to my mind the rich colors of dawn and dusk.
I am shooting exclusively digitally using Nikon FX cameras and lenses. Most of the images presented here are shot ultra-wide in combination with LEE neutral density and polarizing filters.
